Heywood, Obama admin proposed repatriation. Few business leaders were in favor of that plan, which was nothing more than a one-time tax break combined with an additional tax on all future profits earned overseas. That amounted to a net tax hike, since profits earned domestically would still be taxed at the higher rate, while profits earned overseas will then be subject to a new tax. That plan never had any hope of getting passed, but of course, if a liberal "tries," it's good enough, right? Tenchusatsu
