The real danger is the Republican party. Something you fail to see.

The Republican politicians are just as bad as Trump. And the rank and file still support Trump by over 80%. People too seldom realize those types of people who supported Hitler in the 1930's didn't go extinct. They are still around in a modern version; and that modern version is the Republican party.

It looks like trump will let this shut down run, and I believe it is because Trump wants to burn it all down. That is his revenge. He is reveling in the damage he is causing.

But what is really bad is how the Republican party is supporting him in goose step.
