Mock ups: A friend of mine used to perform these tricks for the add shootings.

They would use a spray to water potted plants to make a beer bottle look like its was taken out of the refrigerator.

The ice cubes on the scotch were acrylic, the steam coming from the iron (iron to press clothes) was a guy pumping CO2.

Good artistry I would say.
