Hey Moe, thanks for the tidbit to Value Line. I'll give you a tidbit for what its worth they will exeed their quartly eps in the reporting in two weeks. And thats right they have very little exposure in Southeast. This might be the last time to buy this cheap. This is the scuttlebutt that I heard recently.

Earnings Guessing Value Line Analysis was mentioned recently. So I went to my local library (As Moe directed) and pulled together this silly little analysis of Value Line's opinion of DSC over the last 2-3 years. It has been generally positive! Interstingly enough, there was only one analyst throughout this period: George I.H. Rho. Silly conclusions: 1. Value Line earnings estimates have been consistently very close to the actual. 2. For the first time since 95, Value Line estimates have increased (albeit just by a penny) as the quarter gets closer. 3. The Value Line estimate is higher than most others I have seen for Q497. This implies to me that the company is doing better than expected. How to read this: For the "Period" V/L estimated eps 2, then 1 quarter ahead. On the V/L Date, the published analysis ranked the stock (1 highest to 5 lowest). Share price was approximatly as listed on that date.
