Mike:
If there is one thing that you ought to be able to count on, it's that I probably am "early". That self imposed nickname is there to remind me that fundamentals often take a while to sink in, especially in a mania. That said, with Asia in complete meltdown, and money now flowing to bonds (or to cash), a cliff is not far ahead for markets on this side of the Pacific. Hong Kong got clobbered again last night, although Korea was up. Today is likely to be nasty here. A self-feeding closed loop is being created.
Best, Earlie

During this bull market, mutual fund flows have followed the market, rather than leading it. The little guy has bought during the recovery following corrections, after others stepped in and propped up the market.
