The Republicans. There is poverty across the country and especially in the south. This is because the Republicans refuse to fund needed social programs and instead steal the counties money from the middle class and poor and give it to the rich. They have been doing it for 100 years as best they can and especially the last 50 years when the southern politician started helping. As rich as we are there should be no poverty like in Scandinavian countries. And we should have universal health care and free education. But the southern politician has made the entire country as poor as the south. The Republicans have given all of our wealth to the rich e.g. this trillion dollar gift to the rich just this month. And they plan to steal it from social security and medicare and other programs for the poor. That is how they role.
