We have to adapt to cell phones, just like we have to adapt to the brand new world of technology and reality. Like we will have to adapt to the singularity. And exactly why we have to replace our animal brain evolved over millions of years of hunter, gathering, with a new existential mind built out of education. Kids can be taught to not do things counter productive to their existence; and to do things that are good, like exercise, diet and learning. We have to learn to command technology and not let technology command us. Kids addicted to cell phones are usually not adequately educated. IMO.
