True that it's simplistic to use revenue per employee. But it's not so simplistic to measure profit per employee. Such measurements are like arpu as in average revenue per user which is useless but Globalstar and others think it means something useful.

When there is huge profit per employee there's going to be competition if competitors are allowed.
