You have a short memory. Brady came back in both those games, leaving his defense with the lead. Eli and the Giants offense had game winning drives in both. Don't shortchange their accomplishment.

And if you only want to count the games the Pats ultimately won... everyone remembers the Giants denying the Pats the perfect 19-0 in Super Bowl XLII, but fewer recall that the Giants were also the last team between New England and a perfect 16-0 regular season, and led 28-23 in the fourth quarter, until Brady found Moss deep...
