Chip Kelly never bought into Nick Foles even though Foles was very successful in 2013 and 2014 (was injured - Eagles were 6-2 at that time). I believe the trade for Bradford was supposed to help Chip try to pull off a trade with Titans to move up and draft Marcus Mariota. I liked Foles and thought he deserved a shot as a starter at that time. He isn't the most graceful but always felt like Eagles were always in the game. I'm happy he got his second chance at redeeming himself. It will be interesting to see if he remains in Philly as a backup.
