You're joking, right?

And a broker cannot be held legally responsible for his recommendations, as long as the advice is accurate to the best of his knowledge, and it is a suitable investment for the client. The client decides whether or not to listen in the future, though.

If that is true, anyone who lost money in the crash of '87 could sue their brokers and get all their money back? Get real.
