It was meant to be a rhetorical comment not aimed at anyone in particular. I should have specified the pronoun reference. The" we"was so many pundits I watched last night. Brian Williams closed his show with a testimonial to them and then Morning Joe and others on his show gave their speech.. It continued on this morning. It would have been nice if they would have put it in context, and explained how complicit the "moderate" Republicans were in setting up this show down, that they were then credited with defusing. Or, how they have been supporting to the person, Trump and the hard right shit storm blowing over this country. Some context would have been nice.
