Let's begin with socialized medicine. The US is one of the advanced countries that has a falling life expectancy. Countries with socialized medicine have longer lives.

Depending on the list you use the US is around #32 in the world. Every single country in the world that has a longer life expectancy than the US has socialized medicine.

Putting this into perspective is important. The US is a third world country when it comes to life expectancy.
