Earlie it's late but I have to catch up on SI. Some interesting comments by Alan Friedberg on the SI Gold Monitor post# 5621 . His views reflect the Austrian economic perspective. Also by Friedberg usastores.com Thanks for your astute commentaries. Mike

Earlie -- thanks for your informative posts. re. MU, i see that the quote.yahoo.com research (avail. through SI) reports a concensus Aug. '98 eps estimate of .17, which translates into a forward-looking P/E of 186. (current price 31.625.) is it this sort of valuation that is the basis of your negative outlook? (or do you think that even the concensus estimate is out of whack given the current economic turmoil?)
