Max, I watched AMCC for awhile. As an IPO, and a hot one to boot with all those high profile stories, it wasn't surprising to me when I found, reading their SEC filings, that the co. was already fully valued...the street has already factored in future expansion. Plus, it's a semiconductor stock and we are in a big time bear market, especially for those, and possibly with reason. Some semis have been whacked down to bargain levels but AMCC is still in a honeymoon period. No bargain there, IMO, off the top of my head of course.

My sister-in-law is a Dev Mgr at AMCC, and when I saw her a
couple weeks ago, she was surprised (and happy) of the recent
run from about 10 to 14 (IPO'd at 8). But there's no news during
the runup - except today they announced a new Exec team member.

Looks like an up & comer to me, but do your DD.
