Each market maker must have a 15C on file or do a piggyback filing on someone else's 15C filing.

In this situation, the only MM who appears to have filed is Sharpe. If they are the only one who has filed, they are the only one who can make a market.

I'm not sure if any other MM's have been cited on this thread as having filed.

re: "Are only the brokerage firms that deal with Sharpe as MM going to be able to make a market on RMIL. (Like DLJ Direct, E*Trade, Merril Lynch.) Or will all brokerage firms use Sharpe?"

H,

Any brokerage firm can go through any market maker. So if there is only one market maker, all brokers would place trades through them.

The big problem with having only one mm is that there tends to be much greater volatility.

Best to you
