Stephen Boyd an American lawyer who currently serves as the United States Assistant Attorney General for the Office of Legislative Affairs.Boyd graduated from the University of Alabama School of Law. He served as the communications director for Jeff Sessions when Sessions was serving as a U.S. Senator. Boyd was also chief of staff to Representative Martha Roby. [1] On April 25, 2017, Boyd was nominated by President Donald Trump for the position of Assistant Attorney General. [2] [3] He was confirmed to this position by the United States Senate on August 3, 2017. [4]

Nunes has every right to do what he wants with the memo. However, I agree with Boyd's suggestion that Nunes should consult with the DoJ Inspector General before releasing it publicly. If there are crimes alleged, having the IG as part of the process will add credibility and set up a more orderly path to prosecution.
