It looks like Intel was smart to spell out that the loss for the quarter was due to an 111% tax rate for a one time charge for taxes on foreign cash.
Intel is up to almost $47 at the moment. Let's see if the treat them like they treated LRCX today or MU forever.
Given Lam has a decent amount of cash overseas, my guess is that is what the charge was for that they didn't disclose in their presser.

This is a quick look at the action today for the SOXM stocks. Notice that yesterday LRCX, TER and XLNX released great quarterly reports, but today they all sold off hard and occupy the last 3 spots in the sort.

Also, the semis sold off hard, but the DOW and S&P were up. The SOX was down a big -23.06(-1.7%)
