Our unfunded liabilities represent a Ponzi Scheme impoverishing current and future generations. Only a system where you get out what you put in plus a rate of interest for lending your money, would be sustainable. Any scheme that relies on collecting from future generations to pay for today's retired is nothing but a Ponzi Scheme. All Ponzi Schemes eventually collapse. Again, only countries that are bankrupt engage in Ponzi Schemes to buy short term happiness.
