Attention doctors: I would like to know if anyone has compared AVEI stents to GDT's stints. Doesn't GDT's stints have a rapid exchage feature and AVEI's don't? (I understand that due to patent issues AVEI can't use rapid exchange in US) Could you also elaborate on the rapid exchange feature, what exactly does this mean or do? Also, JNJ has next generation stint out. How does this compare to AVEI and GDT? It seems to me that these are becoming more and more a commodity. I would think JNJ could come up with a competitive stint most cost effectively through R&D vs. buying out AVEI.
