This is poignant. When Grant was married in 1848 Longstreet was his best man.

Grant's family didn't attend because they ware ardent abolitionists and Julia's family owned slaves.

A friend of our son has, over the last 5 years, fathered three sons. They are Robert, Harold and George. We're hoping these old fashioned names are going to make a comeback.
