LOL. Yes. But you know, hispanics are just anti-Republican, because they've been neglected by the Republican party, or reviled by them because all hispanics are seen as wetbacks who are here illegally. The fact is that 99% of hispanics are Catholic, which makes them very conservative by nature and ideologically aligned to American value systems. In addition, most hispanics who come here are VERY hard working and they work for a pittance in the hopes of make the lives of their families better. We should want these people here legally.

So let's think about this. Hispanics are 19% of the population and the fastest growing minority group, hard working, religious, and conservative. They would make ideal Republicans. But instead of seeing the obvious, which is that the GOP should embrace the most rapidly growing minority group in the US to expand their tent and achieve a permanent majority, instead the GOP routinely vilifies them and pushes them away towards the Democrats. Not smart at all.

If I were President or leader of the GOP, I'd do what George and Jeb Bush both did, which is make hispanics my best friend. However, I would not condone illegal immigration. We are a country of laws and we need to enforce those laws.
