I don't think it is spin. Trump is not being afforded the latitude to think out loud and discuss options. If fear of saying the wrong thing drives a person not to fully vet bad ideas, then we'll have more bad ideas getting implemented. I WANT Trump to say what he thinks. All Presidents need a safe space in the Oval office, where they can be free to say what they want to find a path to the best policies and actions. We want those surrounding Trump to hold him in check on ideas that he has that could be dangerous, or encourage him or refine his ideas when he has good ones. If Dems are just set on engaging in all out war and they continue to just play gotcha politics like with the shithole comment, then they are damaging the White House's ability to function properly. And like it or not, the American people elected Trump and for our Democracy to continue functioning properly, we need all parties to respect the election and let the man do his job without the constant traitorous activity.
