James, I can appreciate a lot of types of music. Even hip hop has its qualities along with rap music, if you know what to look for. The trash that we see today, however, is just the music industry trying to find new lows to shock us, titillate us, and enrage us. Unfortunately this stuff is a reflection of our times. Best (or worst?) example is Miley Cyrus. A very beautiful and talented singer from a great family legacy of music, and she stoops to licking sledgehammers. Tenchusatsu
