Greg, I didn't get the correlation between lower dip to higher top. I think it was just more of an opportunity. I did hear him say something to the effect of "yes" to "not to be too greedy" getting the last percent when the market can go way up and leave you behind if you are not fully invested. My comments... With the Hang Seng off 11% as I write quote.yahoo.com , there is a good chance we will get a great opportunity Monday to buy if we have some spare cash. It sounds like I should hold off selling some large caps for a bit as they might recover BEFORE the semi cap equipment stocks so I could get enhanced returns if I let the large caps go up then scoop up some more UTEK. Interesting. I was planning to sell some large caps to get cash for more semi. cap. equip. I think I will now delay a bit and see what happens. With the carnage in Asia still running strong, Monday will prove to be interesting. Lastly, I think I will finialy sell my Magellan and add to Fidelity Spartan (S&P500) in my 401K. I've held off since I wanted more diversity and I have few choices, but I sure have enough smaller cap now and it is silly to keep with an underperformer, though FMAGX has made me alot of money. Finially, I'll admit that BB was right and I was wrong but I will still have to take the 49ers since they are my home team. The Pack sure looked awsome and Denver will lose again. I might even go skiing that weekend (maybe in CO?) as I don't think the game will be close. may we live in interesting times! Kirk out even more discussion at: suite101.com
