The biotite aplite unit is the principal gold host rock on the Dawson Property including the current inferred resource of 133,500 oz gold at 12.1 g/t uncapped (116,300 oz gold at 10.6 g/t capped at 40 g/t, with a 5 g/t gold cut-off)* in the adjacent and contiguous Dawson Zone. The biotite aplite unit including the Dawson Zone gold resource is characterized by a distinct magnetic low signature shown in blue in the above map. This magnetic low is present, and correlates well with the biotite aplite unit in the Sentinel Zone. Both the biotite aplite unit exposed in trenching and the associated magnetic low signature are open to the east and have the potential to continue for an additional 1,100 m ( 3,400 ft). These important findings led to the staking of 10 additional claims and thereby significantly increasing the gold potential of the Dawson Property. The enlarged Sentinel Zone itself has the potential to host over 1,500 m (5,000 ft) of the favourable biotite aplite unit, more than triple the length of the current Dawson Zone gold resource. The Sentinel Zone has never been drilled. Future exploration efforts currently in the planning stage include continued trenching, magnetic surveying and diamond drilling. The Dawson Property is now over 4 km (2.6 miles) in overall length with the new claims representing a 36% expansion. The Dawson Property has the scale and the geological attributes to potentially host a million plus ounce gold deposit. The shear zone hosted gold mineralization on the Dawson Property has the depth potential of similarly hosted gold deposits in the Canadian Shield. Some of these mines went into production in the 1940’s – 1950’s and are still being actively mined today.
