Hyper inflation in Brazil was needed by the elite and the privileged class to stay in power for a little longer and when no longer needed discarded in an instant. Elmat do you have access to my Brazil summary from around 2003?

Very similar to the USA now. The elite 0.1% of the US population has been hand in hand with the privileged class of government workers, wall street, the military industrial complex,Hollywood, various minority groups including immigrants and ignoring the working class US population. Growth began to slow and much as Brazilians were dying on the street our working class was offered extinction by the system as the Democrats dropped them as the elite care nothing about the little guy (including their minority groups) and only about power. The privileged maintained their status at the cost of the rest of the country. We are now in a civil war but unlike Brazilians at the time it does not yet involve guns on the street. The elite Democrat is in fact a white, male, woman grabber like Weinstein hiding behind whatever is needed for power. Like the Brazilian elite above, they know the current system is no longer viable and they will shortly work out new alliances likely to include fly over country industrial workers. What is sure is they will drop their radical fringes like a hot potatoes just like they did when their lunatic fringe tried to occupy Wall Street. Already the big Democratic donors are withholding money from the party and they are down to 7.5 million. the Democratic elite were already becoming appalled by their lunatic fringe. This lunatic fringe actually feels they have power, but in the US money talks and they are garbage. Like occupy Wall street they will be taken to the dump where they belong shortly

By the way, just like the Brazilian elite bought out their professors and press so has ours. Ours has also bought out Hollywood. When you get fame and fortune you still want one more thing: POWER. Yes this is what Hollywood, the press, and Universities trade their soul for.
