I remember reading about Morphy. I used to read his games as well as Alexhine, Nimzovitch, Capablanca games. For some reason I cannot remember how to spell Alexander Alexhine...

....I had more thoughts but I have to get a kid off to the bus, Later

EDIT

Anyway, for whatever reason I ended up just buying a book on openings and studying it. I knew I would never be another Paul Morphy and sometimes could not interpret why he or many others made certain moves.

I made a name for myself in these parts when Bobby Fischer blundered early in the first game against Spassky. I blurted out that he lost and was greeted with blank stares. Heh! He knocked over his king a move or two later. Anyway, the 15 minute window is about up...I will go play the the game. Forgot what the other thing was I was going to say.
