Well Bill, I enjoyed the understated nature of it, though it became not so understated the more I read. It was worth a good laugh by the time I got down to Tupac Shakur investing advice. The thing about it is that the world is so bizzare that these topics are quite possible on the farce of it. In any event, I appreciated the good humor with which it was intended.

As to the assaults by hackers, I'm unsure of the motivation there. Reading on the Wired site there seems to be a number of ways to bring down a site. Besides "bonk" there's "smurf" which seems to be death by a million "pings". There is mention further down in the article referenced by SI, about "boink" which is supposedly more resilient than "bonk". But the article left me a little confused as to whether the "rootshell.com" site was a resource to help solve these problems or a clearinghouse for hackers to pick up more good ideas. Whatever the case, Microsoft seems asleep at the switch.

Note: Irony of ironies, as I was trying to post this message SI went down for me, I guess from attack again.
