Taleb can't help it... he's always fun. Inter alia, he says the same thing I've said more than once - Trump should avoid claiming credit for the markets. Taleb makes a good point -- Obama "bought" the market near bear market lows -- OTOH, Trump took office after several "fat years", when valuations were becoming more risky.

As we know, since last spring the markets did exceptionally well - but still, looking forward, if Trump claims credit for the Bull, at some point he will be assigned undue responsibility for some future (inevitable) Bear.

Lagniappe. Definitely a spelling bee word. I can picture some 12 year old kid getting tripped up on that.
