I just read SI and I don't like to be told I am wrong. That 200k holding has been on Merrill institutional holdings since July of 1996. I know because I Iooked it up on Bloomberg in that Month on a Merrill Lynch Institutional client group computer. I immediately was suprised since the company hadn't done anything in 6 years and future prospects were certainly not bright. Why would we be taking a position. I called our New York Equity desk and
asked. They said they were private client group shares held in margin accounts. Private Client Group is retail (general custumer not institutional investors). If Max would like to E-mail me I would be glad to give him the trading desks number so he can fight with Merrill Lynch on their equity holdings.
