Boys and girls, the word of the day is UNHINGED. Thank-you Bobby for your submission of today's word. UNHINGED crazy, insane, psychotic, confused; a basketcase. not attached where it really counts, much like a door. As in, ‘this graphite has become unhinged from its marble foundation. And the marble foundation has become unhinged from reality. The leader has become unhinged from his flock. His greatest follower’s mind has become unhinged from its cranial caviity. UNHINGED can sometimes be interchanged with HINGES (take special note Shoto, Jiggy, Edwinner , Eva and especially Brucie) HINGES A word meaning "Let's get out of here". It originates from its reference to hinges on a door, implying that one will swing the door open and leave. As in, "This joint sucks. Hinges."*
