Mindmeld, It's why I keep calling it a disaster. Why is it a disaster? It accomplished exactly what it was meant to do, which is to take a permanent step toward *single-payer*. The fact that it is flawed and may even contribute to rising health care costs only underscores the need to get to that "promised land," according to liberals. There is no problem that can't be solved with more government. Even the failure of more government means we need more government. Even the word "socialism" is no longer taboo among the youth these days. Tenchusatsu
