I like this company too but I'm not sure its all that cheap. The p/e of three is based on a one-time gain and a big tax benefit amounting to over a $1 per share in the Dec 96 quarter. The p/e after the pending Dec 97 earnings announcement will be more like 10 (if we are lucky). There could be some one-time merger related writeoffs that will make things look worse this quarter. The revenue growth rate looks good but we may have to wait a bit for earnings to show up. Separate item - the company web site is finally up. synbiotics.com
