The FBI is doing a good job. We all know who's trying to get away with murder...the groper-in-chief...

Sharkie,
It doesn't mention that the request for research on trump (that ended up in the dossier) was originated by a repugnican
The firm was originally hired by the Republicans, but Steele didn't come on board until after the Democrats took over. And Steele was the one who had an axe to grind with Donald Trump.
Carter Page was under investigation for his ties to russia since 2013.
Either way, the fact that the dossier was tied to the Hillary campaign makes it tainted, and that its existence (before the connection was revealed) more than likely had an effect on the decisions made by the FBI.

The dossier in question was compiled by a former British intelligence officer Christopher Steele and contained numerous explosive but unverified claims.

The memos were compiled by a research firm called Fusion GPS, who was first hired by The Washington Free Beacon, a conservative publication that was reporting on the Republican primary field.

After the Republican primary, Fusion GPS was hired on behalf of Clinton’s campaign. That’s when the firm hired Steele.
