an intra-governmental civil war within the Executive Branch. Is that a translation for:
The Swamp is Fighting Back?

The power is actually with the civil servants.

Trump has to start firing a few thousands for the rest to walk the line

if true, then yes, <<all of this illegal activity is very, very troublesome>>, and msm complicity, whether wittingly or not, more so, given sustenance and comfort and legitimacy to the 'deep state' (for lack of better description given the pervasiveness of the effort)

if true, unsure of pervasiveness of same such throughout history.

if newly pervasive, then more alarming. if biz as usual and always, then matters less, i suppose.

if true, and no one high-up ends up seriously punished, then all lost.

perhaps this be manifestation of the 'swamp' in trump's language.

if not true, then would indicate trump camp is alarming, and not just to the opposition.

either way, determining the truth certainly merits the time at this juncture.

whichever way, drama, perhaps more so than watergate, given the wide scope of drama and # of folks possibly involved / implicated.

per martin armstrong

"... I really have no opinion on Jung’s work. Nevertheless, there is clearly a sort of collective unconsciousness that comes into play creating panics. I tend to see it more as a herd of zebra. They are all clustered together and one on the fringe of the herd sees a lion approaching. He starts to run and the others all panic and run as well without knowing why nor did they see the lion. They run because everyone else is running. This is the same thing that dominates a panic in markets. At the end of the day, everyone sells because everyone else is selling. There is usually no solid reason that can be asserted as a fundamental ..."

... perhaps what it would take is a "boo"

Notorious Republican Deputy-Attorney General Rod Rosenstein was appointed to his position by George W. Bush, in 2005.

But Republicans like Rosenstein have made Washington DC too partisan by allowing investigations of Carter Page's interactions with the leadership of Russia which led to an investigation of an increasing number of Trump associates and Trump himself. Trump also wants him gone because he refused to pledge his personal allegiance to Trump as the Judiciary was required to do in Nazi Germany.

The Tea Party Patriots, a conservative activist group, put out an ad Friday that bluntly states: “It’s time for Rod Rosenstein to do his job or resign.” 'Doing his job' apparently apparently consisting of swearing a blood oath to the Fuhrer, something that will never happen at the United States Justice Department.

Republican Speaker of the House, Paul Ryan, has suggested those calling themselves the Tea Party Patriots are suffering from 'Trump Related Bystander Trauma'.

Rod Rosenstein has been overseeing the Special Prosecutor's investigation of Trump associates but has refused to shut down the investigation because he's a partisan-Republican

Excellent summary C2. But wrong that Trump sounded like a lunatic. He did not to me. Many people did and still do let Fake News and slogans do their thinking for them so he did to some. He was wire tapped and Clintons are crooks along with many fellow travellers.
