Been there, done that, samo samo.

You forgot to mention that last year, we had a ton of rainfall, and all of the reservoirs are full or close to being full.

California will have its warm periods and its not-so-warm periods. It will have its dry spells, and it will have its deluges of precipitation.

One thing California will never be able to do is stop the climate from changing.
