The giant hole that the Gop-ers and Scrotus have blown in the debt will make an interesting campaign platform. The Trump humpers can in no way run on fiscal responsibility. Obviously, they've still got racism to run on- but will that be enough? Blowing up the deficit now, while we were in "good" times was stupid- since it doesn't leave us a lot of powder for the inevitable downturn (or the non-inevitable Trump fueled downturn accelerated by some moronic Trump policy). Republicans can run from Trump, and they may need to run from him by the midterms- but that won't work for well for the ones who fellated him with abandon.

In the meantime, the Fox News / Limbaugh world think its just Washington politics and the swamp noise they elected Trump to change. They still see the Democrats are responsible for the swamp. The Trump meme that Clinton and the DNC is behind the Mueller investigation is common. Trump is not losing his base and that includes his power over the Republicans in Congress. The most important challenge to Dems is to refocus the reality and truth of the swamp and who is recieving the benefits from the new debt. And Mueller must indict some more people, and get facts out there.
