Charles,

Running with 'all' gave me a "Max Pain" point of between 35 and 37.5.
I had to go to the raw numbers because the chart bottom is so flat over this range of 'Pain'.

Dropping all the strikes below 30 gives a slightly narrower 'valley' with the "Max Pain" point at 37.5 with "pain' values, from the numbers, of $15.6M at 35, $14.8M at 37.5, and $16M at 40. This is a jump ball range of values.

The real 'affector' is going to be Asia and the earnings report. The "Max Pain" chart seems to work best 'in calm waters' when we are looking for some breeze to fill the sails.....

Re: Feb That's an infinity of time away. But it will get posted when Jan is done and over... :-)
