PMFJI but as a some time CHPS/INTC/MSFT and DEC holder, I'm interested in the particular date the announcement was pushed back to: Jan 13. That also happens to be Microsoft's day in court with the DOJ. That also is INTC's earnings date - talk about potential for volatility! Personally I think the DOJ may cause some big problems for MSFT & INTC and probably justifiably so. As most of us tech investors have seen, it was awful hard over the past couple years to make money on other stocks than MSFT & INTC as we watched in fear and horror to see a whole sector of stocks and businesses masacered when one of the big two announced they were entering someone else's market. Of course the common date of MSFT & DOJ, the CHPS deal (which may show concern/direction of the DEC/INTC deal), and INTC earnings/outlook could be coincidence, but what an opportunity for the DOJ/FTC to make a point!

Should be a very interesting day @ the market Tuesday!

comments/opinions anyone?

good luck all,
Tom

Oh, for the record I have no position in CHPS currently. Was only long on CHPS & sold in the first 15 minutes of trading after the takeover announcement last July.
