This is a café with lots of different people. Most are international citizens of nations other than America and, apart from a few trolls, most have traveled widely. My sense has always been that most of those who post here hate America and what it stands for, and indeed some even hate successful Americans like myself, but that has never bothered me. Their emotional turmoil defines their world, not mine. It's an international café and that's the variety of the world. I find I have a much better reception in person than I do online at times, but I suspect that's primarily due to the fact that the "troll behavior" of some doesn't work "in person" in the real world because it's akin to a schizophrenic acting out. You're becoming as thin-skinned as Donald Trump who thinks anyone who is not continually applauding him is a traitor. You may want to create a private invitation-only "Jay's Trump Club Just for Men" in honor of "the Donald's" favorite hair-colouring product to give you the protected "safe-place" you're looking for.
