the top 5 look like the best "long term" investments to me! (in 000s) 1 Yahoo 17,354 2 Netscape 14,010 3 Excite/Webcrawler 10,876 4 Microsoft 10,557 5 AOL.com 9,494 did you note that mci and yhoo just did a deal? they are not going to go away. we both think that excite is the most undervalued. i bet if you had just picked these industry leaders 2 years ago and held--you would have made a lot of money. i think that 3-4 of these will still be leaders in 5 years!
