Here's a post from the MF board that should make those with losses feel better..Nothing like knowing you have company..<gg>

<<Greetings my friends:
I lost my shirt (and pant) investing in wall street! During the past two years I have lost about 50K out of my 200k investing in companies like intc, txn, cpq and many other great companies in this bull market while the S&P went up over 75% during the past two years. I played naked options in intc and diligently followed analysts' recommendations. Typically, I buy high and sell low (after I panic!). But I have not given up yet. I am still heavy
into oil drillers: slb, hal, ne and do.
After losing so much I have no fear! In fact I have lost so many ways in trading (rather than buying and holding) that I decided to compile my stories in the form a book. Is there anyone out there who lost as much money as me!
I bet no one can come close to me!!!
When I hedge, I lose! When I buy call, it expires worthless. When I buy puts, the market surges. I lose no matter what I do. I will tell you many other ways I have lost (folks this is not a joke). My latest loss was by betting into January rally (bought Tx at 51 cpq at 75, cymi at 75, bought amat at 100). I bought intc when it was at 95 and sold in Dec to take advantage of tax losses.
Is there anyone else out there who lost any big money by trading? I would like to hear from you. I may include it in my upcoming book titled "100 ways to lose money in the wall street."
Losers of the world unite!
Good investing with you and good luck to all!>>
