I don't think the MCI YHOO agreement is a big deal, but it depends on the financial arrangement between the two. It may draw a few extra users, but there's really nothing proprietary about being on the service. I think the most interesting aspect is what the domain name will be on user's email addresses - YHOO or MCI, but that info wasn't given.

Anyone want to venture a guess on how they'll structure the deal?

Hey, did anyone else read Business Week over the weekend. Sounds like MSFT is spending about $250 million a year to develop the internet. Any spending by YHOO pales in comparison.

Also, read the interview with Gates. Seems like he's got an interesting slant on competition. Basically, he's complaining that if MSFT can't innovate the way MSFT wants to, they'll be killed. Of course, MSFT has this way of innovating that I equate with monopoly. Just MHO.
