My opinion is that there are some valid point in this article, specifically the fact that the current Bitcoin is not suitable for day-to-day payments. The forks definitively increase the supply, but they are not the same coins they are significant variances. The writer clearly ignores what is being done right now to change what exist. He probably doesn't know that the original Bitcoin is now less than 35% of the total market and the trend is accelerating lower. For sure the bitcoin is not an environmental disaster.
