Bob: Euro is fine, but dont forget 10%+ unemployment.. I still can't figure how US is doing it. I guess it must be the gazzillions of dollars you had to spend on fighting the lords od darkness and and have now been set free. US' brain and muscle having a time off from DoD contract work...

Remember Minutemen and Pershings, B52s and dr Strangelove? It all looks like a bad dream to me seen from 1998.

Re Intel: that the absolute market owner is at P/E 18 and bumping hard on the 70$ support level just fills me with optimism. If this does not hold, than I stop believing in Santa. And I'll revert to flat-earth religion.

Re Asian debacle: German banks are pretty deep into this tarpit. But with the 97 increase of cca 60% in DAX banking index, we'll be able to handle it. As I understand you joined the ranks of investors (gigag). I will post some EOY info on Germany and predictions 1998.

and BTW thanks for your mails; just don't stop.
