PLXS

Doug,

I wish good luck to any who essay PLXS, but I want to be explicit here in pointing out my objections to it:

1) Insufficient incubation; three weeks isn't enough for me
2) The "gap" of the first half-hour this morning MAY or MAY NOT be anomalous (it might even be a late reporting sale--it has nothing to do with the rest of the day's trading action); besides that period, this may not have hit a low lower than 12/21 today. (I don't know, and I ant to post this before closing)
3) it's trading spottily (i.e., one huge plus a few others, with periods of inactivity in between), which is highly suspect to me.
4) It got an analyst upgrade today and has seen no benefit.

In sum, it does not feel like a signal to me. But best of luck to any to whom it does and acts on it.

Ivan

EDITED

Doug:

Sorry to send that previous post off in such bad shape. I did want to say, however, that PLXS seems hyper-risky to me, for the simple reason that it feels like it's being manipulated, rather than going through a natural transmogrification by market pressures. Volume is decreasing (if you can even calibrate it) going into the close, not a good sign, the signal is suspect, and it hasn't had enough time to cook.

Ivan

PS: I think the market was rallying in its putrefaction today. All the indicators except the close were miserable. Tomorrow might be a bloodbath.
