More from the annual report--unfortunately I have no scanner, so this is by hand. Forgive typos.

"During the fourth quarter of fiscal 1997, the Company announced a major business initiative based on its Plant Y2kOne suite of products and services...

During the first 60 days after introduction, the Company received more than a dozen engagements for its Plant Y2kOne services. In addition the Company has received more than 10 requests for proposals for multi-plant engagements.Though only in the early stages of these engagements, which makes forecasting difficult, the Company believes its Plant Y2kOne products and services hold significant near term commercial opportunity. To properly support that opportunity, the Company will have to add significant staff, perhaps as many as 150 engineers. Further, it will have to make additional investment in product development."

The launch of Y2kOne was in July, so this statement was probably current as of the end of September. As we know, a LOT has happened since then.
