No problem Bob it's what I love to do. Yes the brain. <G> That's why sometimes I do write down my thoughts. The hard thing is, these post Semis of today. Generally came from INTEL,IBM ,Motorola and Bell labs. Some of those companies spun off or sold their Semi businesses. Those post surviving companies acquired niche companies along the way. That's probably where the company your looking for is. Altera-Zilog to look through. In due time I might find it yet. <o> wink

P.S. Odd I remember a Lot of XYZ names in semis - Xilinx, but then again there is Xerox <g> If you find it before me please post it.

There were quite a few that dabbled in that area, Bob.

Off the top of my head there was Triquint, MindSpeed, AMCC,AHAA,ATMI,AXTI, CNXT and ANAD....all come to mind. I'm sure there were plenty of others.
