My guess would be that the changing DNS has to do with the ongoing battle against the Denial of Service attack that has plagued SI since Friday.

Chris,

As a defense to the hacker attack, we brought a extra servers online. The hacker was targeting www.techstocks.com so to keep the site running we redirected traffic to servers with random IP addresses. As soon as the prankster finds the new IP addresses and adjusts his program, we move them again.

It's a fun little game, but personally I'd rather be programming new features :)
